Robins U10s, Reds and Blues, marked the end of a successful season with a presentation to their coach, Abdul Selamani, who was initially supposed to be the U10 Red coach this season, but since November has been coaching both teams, with Christina Chemsi helping out with the Blues since February.
That's double the workload, managing 20 talented young players across two teams, but also double the reward as we have all been able to watch these young footballers develop under Abdul's watchful eye. Nonetheless, it's a significant commitment and to mark their gratitude, the teams got together at the weekend to present Abdul with a memento of a sucessful season together.
Next season, Abdul will continue with the Reds team, while the Blues will be coached by Wiss Chemsi, while Christina will provide support across both teams. As with all our coaches, we greatly appreciate the time, effort and dedication they put in to enable our young players to flourish in a positive and supportive environment but Abdul really has gone above and beyond this season - thanks Abdul!
